First early Christmas commission completed in the Art Room
Christmas, although not quite on our doorstep, isn't all that far away. I had good intentions all this year to mass produce wood slices with poinsettia, snowflakes, deer, and whatever other seasonal art might come to mind. Well, that never happened! (First published in September 2019)
No doubt, other artists and artisans alike who participate in craft shows are already working feverishly on new projects or adding their most popular items to their inventory.
So far, I have been unable to paint in bulk before the boredom sets in. I would love to hear from those of you who to sell multiple copies of one same item...how do you manage that? What are your secrets to getting say, 100 Christmas ornaments painted?
Update 2022: Still struggling with painting in a series. So far I have published mixed media original painted pears and apples for sale and next will show my Christmas wreaths.
Pet portrait commission twice done
This commission of Chester, painted twice is just right for me. A friend of mine remembered how busy I was last year, and requested two nearly similar wood slices as Christmas gifts for a mother and her adult son. I had a lot of fun painting this sweet rescued dog.
Update 2022: My commission calendar is now filled for 2022 and I am accepting orders for next year.

Cheers from the Art Room.
