The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.

A Voyage in Time photo of Miss MacPhersonThis quotation accurately describes the problems I have had creating a free vintage ebook that I promised all subscribers to my newsletter.

Everything blog related (or should I say technology-related) is somewhere on a learning curve for me.

Some aspects are easier than others because after all, I have been blogging for three years now.  However, there is always something that throws me off course. Hyperlinks don't work. Margins won't line up. Inconsistencies abound. This ebook is no exception.

The plan was to publish the ebook in the June newsletter, and it was mostly ready. Then I found some glitches which I could not easily correct. In the end, the solution was so simple...in fact, I am even embarrassed to admit how simple...so it will remain my little secret!

Suffice to say that by the time I had the answer, I had already convinced myself to start the ebook all over again. Yup, from scratch. This ebook has to be PERFECT!

Free vintage ebook will be sent in July newsletter

And so it is that I have two different copies of the ebook.

However, I now have other issues with the copy I have chosen to share with subscribers.  Some of my hyperlinks do not bring the reader to the correct web page! The solutions are probably very simple, but sometimes, my brain just won't see that solution...so you must be patient with me.

I am very proud of this book.

It has all the stories I have written to accompany the portraits I have painted from January to June this year.

At this point in time, it is very near perfection. There are just a few more features I would like to add and then it will be ready to send to all my newsletter subscribers.

All 47 pages!

So thank you to all my friends and new subscribers.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
