To Everything There is a Season...
...and a time to every purpose under the heaven...

I often think of these words from one of my favourite passages in the Bible. Frequently quoted, the first line of the lengthy passage is easy to remember.
However, the passage in its entirety is equally significant and beautiful.
As we admire the fall splendour before us, as we watch the leaves turn to gold, then fall to the ground, as we gather around the dinner table tonight with family and friends, let us be thankful for the blessings we have been given...
...And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
