On time delivery of Christmas ornaments.
I stared at my calendar in November thinking it had somehow betrayed me…can it really be only weeks until Christmas? How does Christmas sneak up on me like that each year?
So many Christmas projects still waited in each calendar square. The overriding theme was plainly visible in the art studio – Christmas ornaments!
Paint was drying, sparkles were flying, markers…disappearing under collage paper. You get the picture? The studio was one big mess, and still is!
“Just one more” I said of the nth time. Half-finished reindeer with lots of attitude waited for just the right touch to make them scream Christmas. Some needed emotional support after all the snow I added to the wreaths around their necks. And those little doves ready to give away were definitely a learning curve as I worked with air dry clay once more. I made myself notes for the next time I work with that type of clay.

When I wasn’t decking the halls or singing carols, I was being buried under sparkle and paint!
But all is done. Our Christmas concert last Sunday was a resounding success with more than 600 in the audience. The house is decorated, food is prepared, guests came and partied, and now we wait for the big day.
May your heart and home be filled with the magic of the season today, and always.
