"If instead of a gem, or even a flower, we should cast the gift of a loving thought into the heart of a friend, that would be giving as the angels give." George MacDonald, Scottish author and poet.

I am definitely casting loving thoughts your way, you who have been reading my blog these past months, and also to you, my new subscribers. As this year comes to a close, I would be remiss if I did not tell you how much I value your presence in my new online life.

A special thanks to those of you who have taken the time to "leave a reply" or two or more on my blog since June. I have read all your comments and appreciate that you have made room for my blog in your busy lives.

To those who know me well, you know that I am struggling with finding myself as an artist. The road is twisting and turning and I am not quite sure of the direction I am taking on any given day!

I am thankful that you are following me along this journey. And I am especially thankful for all your encouragement and patience.

As you know, I have been working on my little angel for several weeks. All I need do is wrap her up and send her off by mail to her new home. She should arrive well before Christmas.

As in the previous giveaway, I used Random.org to generate a number after I had created the list of subscribers as of this morning. The random number generator selected 7 and this is LH.
It's time to move on to other projects. I am thinking of shells and warm sun and sandy beaches. But Christmas is also on my mind, mostly Christmases of long ago. Don't be surprised if shells appear in an upcoming post as I am off to Mexico for a little holiday before Christmas.
