The selfie was published in August, 2015 when I first started blogging. Some cringe worthy art was posted way back then, but I have a record of the road I have travelled to get to this place...which is still not the destination!
For today's post, I added a sketch of my mother when she was young (first attempt) and another first attempt at sketching my paternal grandmother. They are both in the foreground of the above collage.
The women at the back appeared on paper as I was practising. I don't know who they are...no one in particular and certainly no one that I know. All are quick sketches...about 15 minutes per sketch? The water mixed with Stabilo pencil does a lot of the work for me.
