On this second wood slice ornament ordered from me, the client wanted a green background. From the information she provided, I know that Allie is a playful dog who thrives in the great outdoors. Her love of nature is seen every moment she enjoys exploring various areas in the yard.
Based on a photograph that was emailed to me, Allie is painted on a wood slice, reminding her owners of her vibrant personality and the joy of being outside with her favourite people. Below is reference photo and the ornament almost finished.
The ornament is approximately 4 inches in diameter and is varnished with a professional acrylic gloss varnish. The back is signed and I stamp a maple leaf because I am a proud Canadian and to show that this is indeed made in Canada. It is ready to hang on a jar of cookie treats for a good puppy, or can be added to Christmas tree decorations in December.

Fall is an extremely busy season for me. My orders begin arriving in August most years. I accept limited number of commissions and already, because of events happening in my family, I have limited number of spaces on my waiting list.
