One year ends and another begins...with a giveaway

As I close off 2018, and prepare for 2019, I am ever thankful for you, my friends from near and far, who have been loyal readers of my blog, or who have visited my website from time to time.

In 2018, I published 124 posts and had 12,797 views on my website. This is up from 7,046 views in 2017.

What better way to show my gratitude than to start the new year with a giveaway!

One of my loyal readers will win one 8 X 10 giclée print of my signature painting, Forever a Wallflower, at the end of January. Here are other prints available in the gallery on my website.

What is a giclee print?

Forever a Wallflower - giclee print

Giclée printing is the best print reproduction available.

My prints are professionally printed using archival inks on fine acid and lignin free 100% cotton paper. Forever a Wallflower has a matte finish and is water resistant. It has a 1" border as shown in the photo; however, the watermark is not on the print.

Giclée prints can last well over 100 years as long as they are kept out of direct sunlight.

How to win this print.

All subscribers to my newsletter automatically have one chance to win. If you are a subscriber, you are already entered in the draw.

If you wish to subscribe, here is the link...newsletter signup.

I send one newsletter each month, directly to your email box.

What will you find in the newsletter? Of course, you will see all of my blog posts as well as guest artists' stories and art for each month. As well, you will have first dibs on exclusive giveaways and free ebooks.

Examples of giveaways to subscribers

A Voyage in Time photo of Miss MacPherson

This year, for example, I gave away to one lucky subscriber, a small Dutch porcelain container that I bought on my trip to Amsterdam in August.

All subscribers received my free vintage portrait ebook in July and then in November, the newsletter included a pictorial travelogue ebook of my trip to eastern Europe.

These ebooks were not available elsewhere on my website.

How else to enter?

I understand that you might not be interested in receiving my newsletter. I get that. So, if you leave a comment in the "Leave a reply box" after a blog post in January 2019, your name will be entered to win the print.

Each comment on different posts will give you another chance to win.

Subscribers can earn extra chances to win by leaving a comment after a blog post in January, 2019.

Please note: comments are published only after I have reviewed them. (I will be away from January 5-13 and will publish your comments when I return to Canada.)

Leave more comments in January 2019 and receive additional chances to win!

Thank you to all my readers and good luck!  The winner will be announced on February 1.

Wishing everyone all the best in 2019.
