Canada Day 2020 will look a bit different.

Canada Day 2020 will be like no other July 1. There will be no parades, no fairs, no huge barbecues, no mass parties in city centres.

Of course we will mark the occasion in our own, quiet way. The Canadian way.

  There were no strawberry daiquiris. By the time the family arrived, I had kept a bowl of fresh strawberries for the kids but everything else was put away for winter. Thanks anyway! (Some people gave us a fireworks show in the dead end of our street where the city left a pile of sand. Quite nice!)
