Keep a warm summer breeze with you through the cold winter months.

Ah, summer…so much to do in such short time, especially for those of us who live in Canada.

Summers are never long enough for…

Watching pink, fiery sunsets

Eating fresh, juicy tomatoes

Picking wildflowers along a bike path

Feeling warm sand between our toes

Sailing away on a warm summer breeze!

Summer Breeze, acrylic landscape by Louise Primeau
Summer Breeze.

Summer Breeze: the details.

painted sides of Summer Breeze by Louise Primeau
Sides are painted to match the front of Summer Breeze. Looks great on a shelf, sitting on a desk, or hanging on a wall.

Whipped by the salty sea air, the crisp, white sails stand at attention. Merrily, the breeze propels the little boats out of view from the sunbathers on the beach.

Easily transported from one place to another, this mini painting is all acrylic on a 4 X 4 gallery wrapped canvas. With its sides painted to match the front, this little seascape is perfect on a kitchen counter of a beach themed home where it now sits.

However, it would look as nice on a desk or on the wall with other beach decor.

Certainly, the little gift evokes memories of summer on the beach.

This OOAK (one-of-a-kind) painting is varnished with a glossy finish to enhance and protect the colours.

Make the best of summer...cheers!

And before I go, here are some wise words to remember as we look to the future.

"I find the great thing in this world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving - we must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it - but we must sail, and not drift, nor lie at anchor." - Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.

  • A splendid painting, Louise ~ embracing the warmth, energy and excitement of summertime ? Have a great day, my friend ? P.S.: a wonderful quote, also ?

    • Thanks Phil. Summer is just too short here so yes, I am embracing the warmth of our recent heat wave. Cheers!

  • There is a song called Can’t wait for Summer and that is exactly how I am feeling at the moment. Your painting reminds me of the bay where we used to live with the hills in the background and also a few boats going to and fro….?

    • You will enjoy some early summer weather in a month while you are visiting our West Coast. I hope the weather cooperates!
